CII Naoroji Godrej Centre of Manufacturing Excellence

4th Edition of Conference on Occupational Health and Safety

OHS Challenges for Future Ready Organisations
28 Aug 2019 4th Floor Auditorium, Plant 13 Annexe, Godrej & Boyce Mfg. Co Ltd. Mumbai

The world that we live and work in is changing rapidly – Digital technologies are getting strongly embedded in multiple aspects of the workplace, Millennials and Gen Z employees are drawn towards purpose-driven organisations, the global business landscape is becoming more protectionist with trade wars between two major economic superpowers and the threat of climate change induced disaster becomes real and severe every day.
In this context, companies need to think about how they will become future-ready. It’s not just about the hard stu like Technology but it’s more about the soft stu – the people who will use Technology and develop innovative solutions to the above-mentioned problems and opportunities.
To do this requires a new code of work practices, one where people feel that their lives are respected and cared for...resulting in the need to look at OHS from a completely new lens.
